I’m pretty sure this is a job scam.

I’ve seen two job listings on craigslist that lead to the following URL:

https://calendly.com/company-founder

The craigslist job listings are “too good to be true” and have many hallmarks of a job scam. In addition, when I searched calendly.com for open positions, these jobs are not listed.

The company founder is listed as someone named “Jacob.” The URL returns a 301 redirect response, yet when viewing the code, I do not see any 301 status listed. The page contains a link to set up a Zoom interview.

Is this something Calendly is aware of? This appears to be hosted under the calendly.com domain, but I suspect it is being a bit more sneaky and eventually leading the victim somewhere else.

Hi @Craig72521 - Thanks for reaching out!

Its possible this is someones legit Calendly link they’re using to schedule time with prospects. Did you attempt to meet with them and they didn’t show up, or something similar?

For context, any of our users with a booking page will always include our domain, but I appreciate you digging into this!

If you noticed anything else let me know, I can have our team investigate from there.

I see, thanks for the quick response. No, I did not attempt to set up a meeting. I was helping someone else with a job search, and the craiglist ad looked suspicious; similar to another job scam I saw a few months ago (not tied to your domain).

Here is one of the job post links, in case you can look into it further. The link in the post redirects from  (Note that it’s not a secure connection) to calendly.com/company-founder

Similar posts are also showing up in San Diego.

Got it, Thanks for all the info @Craig72521 - I removed the links to prevent anyone else from using them, but I have the information saved.

Let me know if you need anything else!
