How Do I...?

I noticed that calendly was not applying my buffers to appointments when it came to other things scheduled outside of Calendly. I looked it up and it was suggested that I click the “Include buffers on this calendar” in the calendar settings. I did that and all the buffers are now showing on my Google Calendar. Its a huge overwhelming mess now. I went to uncheck that box because I obviously don't want that. Now its not going back. Please can anyone help before I lose all my hair. 

Dear Calendly Community,we are using a 90-minute Collective Event with three hosts in our organization.Our desired scenario is: Host A (CEO) should attend only the first 30 minutes of the meeting. Hosts B and C should attend the full 90 minutes. Currently, when a booking is made, the full 90 minutes are blocked in Outlook for all three hosts.Our specific question:Is it possible within a Collective Event to configure different attendance or calendar blocking durations per host?If this is not supported:What would be the recommended best-practice solution within Calendly (e.g., routing forms, combined events, workflows, or another configuration) to implement this setup?Thank you in advance for your guidance.Kind regards,Francisco

Hi, I’m running into an issue with my calendly event, when a prospect starts entering a phone number as the location of the 30 minute event, they see a US flag but as soon as they start typing in the phone number (without the +1), the US flag goes away and prospect gets error on phone number stating missing country code.  Has anyone run into this before and if so, were you able to solve it and how? Let me know.  Thanks!

Hello!I noticed a small bug in the Phone Field in Routing Forms.Basically, even though the field correctly detects my country, it doesn’t automatically add the country code, just the +. So when the user starts writing his phone number on it, he is forced to first write his or her country code. Otherwise, it will change the country.I’ve recorded a quick video showing what I mean:https://www.loom.com/share/ca2d72c96fef433c9c879912aad6c43aThe same issue happens with the Phone Field in regular scheduling forms: the user’s country is pre-selected, but the country code is not pre-filled. Crypto scammer - Mykyta Yachynov - is sending invites to his calendly profile, then instead of Google Meets he sends malware infostealer virus, masked as Microsoft Teams. Can calendly take down scammers account?

Can you advise … I am hoping to put a ‘new leads’ book an appointment calendly calendar into my new Wix website to book a free introductory consultation appointment.My branded business email address is using Gmail/Wix, but I’d like to sync my calendar to my microsoft outlook calendar and use MS Teams for video calls etc. I am aware that this is trying to sync MS and Google products, but I am only using google for Gmail not Google calendar or meets. Is this possible on the basic/free plan? 

Is it possible to ask for name, mobile number and email id from the user when they book via Calendly widget in website? By default, I’m getting name and email Id but not the mobile number.

This is a continuation of a thread that was closed 1 year ago, but the problem has not been solved by Calendly.  To wit: I spent almost an hour three weeks ago with one of the Calendly tech support reps on chat for the same issue, and I just had it happen again today.The problem is this: The notifications message that Calendly sends out when someone books an appointment is being labeled spam and blocked from getting to the invitee’s mailbox– hence no appointment on their calendar and a no-show for me. On average, this happens with about 40% of the invitees that I have, and I suspect I have lost significant business because of this.Now I'm not a tech person, but if this is happening multiple times, I would think that Calendly would do something to make sure that their names are not on the "blacklist” so that their emails are delivered.My business can't afford this, and even though I have Calendly integrated into so many portions of the business, I am going to sta

Sometimes, we just can get to all our appointments.  Is there a better option to reschedule the client and NOT mark No show?  If their appt time has past, it does not allow us to reschedule that appointment for another time, only NO Show.  I don’t want the client to reschedule in a workflow that has them as a no show...WE were the no show, not them….I want to reschedule for them to make sure they get priority.

We have reported this problem a number of times. Please let us know that your engineers can fix it! It’s a real problem when our clients (who can be located anywhere in the world) miss out on an appointment to get (sometimes crucial) legal documents witnessed. 

Hi,My Calendly meeting booking is already linked to the website. When a user clicks “Book a meeting”, the calendly booking page for my account is displayed correctly. However, after selecting a meeting date and time, then click Next, the page shows that the calendar is not available.   May I know how to solve this? 

Hi, I am looking for some tech support. I have created a new email address for my business and I would like to update my Calendly subscription to that email address. How do I do that? 

This is super frustrating to me because I cannot access the rest of my events. I have been doing it on mobile for months and it is incredibly annoying.

Our AI notetaker, Jump, does not show up into teams meetings unless manually added into meetings that are scheduled through Calendly.  Do we need to request an integration to add this in or is there a setting that we can turn on to have it added in automatically.

Hello,My team and I use Calendly to schedule student appointments for advisees. We have multiple event types like, New Student, Returning Student, Walk-in, etc. We would like to know if there is a way to quickly see the number of slots left in a date range for a specific event type. For example. Can I see how many more places on my calendar a students could book a “New Student Appointment” between now and August 1st? I don’t need the specific times, just the number of available times with the current settings and holds.I know I could open my scheduling link and count them individually, but that is a lot of days, and a lot of times… Thanks for your help!

Hi everyone,where can I set the option that others can only book times with me at least 36 hours in advance so I can avoid, e.g., that someone books the next hour, even if the slot is still free? I simply need more time to prepare etc.I know this is possible in Google calendars, but I am using outlook. Don’t want to switch to GMail.Thanks.

I’m new to Calendly and need some help with my setup. I’ve connected multiple calendars, but I can’t find a central view within the app to see all of them at once. Additionally, I noticed that a one-off meeting I added isn't appearing in my Calendly 'Scheduled Events.' Is there a way to sync these? Lastly, does Calendly have a feature to block off time without needing an external attendee?

You closed my first thread so I’m starting another one.I spoke with many other Calendly users who I personally know in person and through work, and literally EVERYONE of the think it’s a bad design to not show time display option clearly.I already said it but here it is again, imo you have two very easy fix:Always show am / pm next to the time, regardless of the settings. It just doesn’t hurt to be extra clear. Move the “am/pm 24h” toggle outside of the “Time Zone” drop down list so that clients can see it without any action. Just move that damn thing out!! Look at this example below, it literally takes an UX guy 10 minutes to verify and design, and 10 minutes for a junior, heck perhaps an intern to implement! Don’t continue putting this off for no reason.I have

Hi, Everytime I think we are at the stage of fully utilising Calendly as our sole meeting booking process there is another road block. It’s very frustrating. We are at the stage of testing all meetings booked through calendly, either by clients booking themselves or us booking for them using the ‘book now’ feature.In our testing we are also reviewing our CRM led re-confirmations and reminder SMS we send clients and attempting to use Calendly for the simpler integration and automation.However, we’ve discovered, and I’ve read further here, that if the meeting is booked by us using the ‘book now’ function there is no way the system will send SMS to clients, defeating the whole point.Can you please confirm if a resolution to this is:on the development roadmap if so, the likely timeframe Thank you.

All of our appointments would be in the USA and the country code (flag) for the phone is not automatically going to the USA 1+ etc. It indicates to clients a phone formatting error, rather than asking each one of them to modify the country code is there a way to fix this formatting? Also, tried to book an appointment myself as a test and changed it then it automatically went to another country flag which then i had to change again. Thank you

Hello!I’ve noticed that when someone in my team reschedules a Calendly meeting directly in Google Calendar, using the bi-directional sync feature, then the Zapier automations don’t for that meeting.For example, I have an automation in Zapier that uses the Zoom trigger “New Cloud Recording”. It works perfectly when a Calendly meeting is rescheduled through Calendly. However, when the meeting is rescheduled in Google Calendar, even if the team member records in in the Cloud, the automation doesn’t get triggered.Anybody knows why this is happening?I would appreciate if this could get fixed, because the bi-directionaly sync feature is amazing, it’s much easier to reschedule a meeting directly in Google Calendar than in Calendly, but right now me and my team cannot use it because it breaks this critical automation.Thanks,Ángel.-

As admin, I’ve created a managed workflow -- send booking confirmation via text.  I’ve applied that workflow to every managed event type for the organization.  When I go into any managed event from my admin profile, the workflow shows up in the notification sequence.However, when examining the notification sequence from the team member perspective, the managed workflow does not show up, even though it has been applied.Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

Outlook keeps taking over and my typing creates calendar appointments- Could Calendly be causing this issue?
