Hello, I’m currently working on a project for a website called LESCO Bill (it’s a bill checking service for LESCO users), and I’m trying to set up different calendars for various teams. Each team handles different tasks (e.g., customer support, technical issues, and content updates), and I need to manage them separately within Calendly.

I want to know if there’s a way to create separate calendars for each of these teams so I can keep things organized and avoid any scheduling conflicts. Is it possible to have one account handle multiple calendars for different purposes, and how do I make sure they don't overlap?

Any advice or step-by-step guides would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Hey @UsmanGhani - Thanks for reaching out here!

While you can manage the organization through one account, its best if you have multiple users setup in the organization to help further prevent conflicts and keep things segmented better.

If you create calendars through one account, there is a potential for a lot of unexpected overlap and scheduling conflicts. However, if you add multiple users to your Calendly organization, you can setup events and teams on their behalf. This way, when a user gets booked, they’ll be notified directly. I’ve included some articles below that give a great overview of this - but let me know if you have any questions!

  • How to add or remove users and seats - This will walk you through adding additional users and seats to your account
  • How to set up a team page - This will walk you through creating team pages to better segment your users and teams for more organization!
  • How to set up a round robin team event - This goes over one of our most used events for teams. This allows you to assign multiple users to the same event, then Calendly will automatically rotate the host assigned for each client.
  • By default, once an event is booked through Calendly, that time will be blocked out for all other events for that user. So you won’t have to worry about events overlapping one another.
    - Additionally, Calendly will read the users connected calendar for any Busy events, and mark them as conflicts. So those events won’t be available for anyone to book!
