I use the iCloud calendar on my iPhone. When I have an appointment, I can see a reminder on my iPhone with the option to call, but the call number is not the client number; it is my number to call myself!?How can I fix this issue and get the client number to appear there?

This sounds like it’s likely an issue on iCloud Calendar’s end. That said, you should be able to open up the event type and see the details for your invitee there, on your calendar.
Are these details correct on a web browser when you view your iCloud Calendar there, or a desktop?
