Hello

We actually see an increase in “i dont got an mail or invitation” Situations ending up in finding the Invitation in our Meeting Partners Spam Folders. We are sending invitations, not e-Mail confirmation.

We dont have the problem sending manually Invitations or E-Mails, we are not flagged in any way… Some guys having the same issue? how to solve?

Hi @java - Thanks for reaching out!

Do you know what platform your users are utilizing? This can vary based on if they are using Google, Outlook ect. This could also be effected by their email filtering settings as well.

For instance, Google Calendar recently added a new policy recently for users to help combat spam. This new policy impacts all third party scheduling tools, including Calendly.

Events set up for calendar invitations will only be added automatically if you have had previous interactions with your invitee. For an invitees first time booking, the calendar event will not be automatically added to their Google calendar. Instead, there will be a pop-up above the calendar invitation within the email, allowing the option to click "I know the sender."

Once your invitees select "I know the sender" and confirm "Yes" the event invitation, any additional event invitations from that email/sender will automatically appear within their Google calendar going forward.

Google Calendar users can change this setting within their Google account at any time by following this article: Respond to event invitations

They use different plattform but most of them are in a windows / office setup. I dont think that a lot of them are using google.

The problem with “i know the sender” is, that we are setting a lot of calls on cold contacts (after a short chat on phone) so it is not really an option...

In this case, some users have found more success in using Email Confirmations with their events instead of Calendar Invitations. You can read more on the differences between these here: https://help.calendly.com/hc/en-us/articles/14078580813335-Calendly-scheduling-notifications#01H7TSDF9MD5PGJEAE15KDZ4BH

Let us know if this makes a difference at all!

I also came here to the community to check for solutions for this. More prospects/customers have said lately they didn’t get the calendar invite. It doesn’t seem to be an issue of the appointment not getting on their calendar automatically, they’re not getting the invite in their email. We talk with many people a month, many of them new to us, and we don’t know what calendars they use.

I was checking on the Meetings view, where we can reschedule or cancel, if we can re-send the calendar invite. Maybe that would have the same result of going to spam though.

I will ask people to check their spam filters, and will look at this Email Confirmation option.

i will give the email confirmation a try but i am not very optimistic… we will see.

we have the same situation like DebTro. We now speak to every prospect that he needs to check spamfolder but its no a good workflow
