We are looking at how to give our customers a self-serve experience to schedule calls with the Support agent handling their cases and also improving the agents experience on how to better schedule calls with customers.
Our support portal and Case Management is all Salesforce
Tell me what cool things have you done with this integration.
Thanks
Hey there
Firstly, let’s go over Salesforce Routing! Our Salesforce Ownership Routing integration allows you to route leads to the correct team members booking page based on the ownership of the corresponding lead or contact in Salesforce! This is a powerful tool that cuts down on routing setup and increases lead conversion!
To assist you with setting up the Salesforce Ownership Routing integration, please see the following resources:
- Setup routing with Salesforce ownership lookup
- Troubleshooting when routing with Salesforce ownership lookup
- Routing with Salesforce ownership lookup FAQs
Note: Routing using Salesforce Ownership is only available for Calendly Enterprise plans and is included in the plan.
Next, Salesforce as an integration itself!
- How to install the Salesforce package
- How to upgrade your Calendly Salesforce package from version 1 to version 2
NOTE: To test and customize your setup before going live, connect your Salesforce sandbox.
Calendly’s Salesforce integration can automatically create and update Salesforce records as invitees schedule meetings, send and store Calendly routing form responses in Salesforce, and send Calendly profile and managed event links to Salesforce mapped to the correct Salesforce user - enabling merge fields for sharing the right person's Calendly link in automations/email templates.
As Calendly meetings are created or canceled, you can:
- Create and update any Salesforce object (by default, the integration works with leads and events, but this is customizable)
- View upcoming Calendly events from your record’s open activities
- Track canceled and rescheduled events for individual invitees
- Report on activity sourced by Calendly
Calendly's Salesforce integration is designed to give you transparency and control. For more details on default behavior, view Default behavior of the Salesforce package.
