Hi,
I’ve found that Calendly, when embedded on a website, is showing the “click to accept marketing cookies and enable this content” message.
Setting “ hide_gdpr_banner=1” makes no difference.
By displaying this modal message, you are forcing users to consent, before making a booking. Forced consent and linking consent with other matters both invalidate consent under GDPR, therefore you do not have a lawful basis for marketing cookies. All your tracking data is unlawful.
This is a particular deal breaker for me because you’re preventing customers from booking, just so you can gather marketing data about my website.
Please fix it quickly.
Keith
