Wondering why you can't see your post? We probably have Pre-moderation turned on. Pre-moderation means that every post is reviewed by our team before it becomes public. When pre-moderation is turned on you will see a delay (sometimes hours or days) between clicking "Create" and seeing your post go live in the Calendly Community. Count on pre-moderation being enabled during weekends, U.S. holidays, but also other select times based on company requirements. Why do we do this?Pre-moderation is one of the ways we protect our members. Spam and abuse tend to spike during off-hours, and pre-moderation helps us maintain the high-quality and safe experience you expect. This ensures that the community remains safe, welcoming, and free from spam or abuse during times when our team may have reduced availability. Here in the Calendly Community, each user has a profile that they can personalize. Personalizing your profile includes things like uploading an avatar and choosing a unique username, both of which we’ll go over how to do in this article. Likewise, each user here has a profile that this article will go over how to navigate. Usernames and Avatars When you create your Calendly account, you can navigate to the top right corner > click your avatar > click “Community” and be brought to the Calendly Community. Here, you’ll click “Login” and create your Calendly Community account. When you create your Calendly Community account, you will be able to choose a username. Keep in mind that you only get to set a username once; the username you choose when creating your Calendly Community account will be the username you have for the duration of your time using that account. During the community registration process, you were prompted to create a community username. This part of the process automatically pulls in your first name from your Calendly account plus 5 random numeric characters.If you changed it from the default or let the default be, and now have some username regrets - let us know! We can change it for you.How? Click on my name at the top of this post and then select “Send Message”. Include what you’d like your username to be (note: we reserve the right to veto any username), click ‘Send’ and we’ll take care of it. You’ll get a DM back from one of the community staff letting you know the change has been made. You might need to log out and back in to get the change to take effect, but you’ll be under your new alias in no time at all.
