I am trying to create an automation. When a person book a time in my Event page, I sent this information to Albato, an automation tool. As I have 2 event pages, one called Interview and the other Strategy Session.

Which variable should I use to identify the Event name? Even though I am using the Event variable as you can see the image, it is not working. So, I believe this is not the correct variable to be using. The name is correct but the Event this not to be the correct variable.

Does anyone know which variable is the correct one to be used to identify the Event Page?

Thank you!

Hi there,

To identify which Calendly event was booked in your automation with Albato, you’ll want to use the event_type or event_type_name variable, depending on what your integration supports. This variable typically contains the name of the event type (e.g., "Interview" or "Strategy Session").

If you’re currently using a generic event variable and it’s not working, it’s likely because that variable doesn’t carry the event name information in the format Albato expects. Double-check the payload or data fields Calendly sends to Albato and look for something like event_type or event_type_name.

If you have access to the webhook payload or the data mapping in Albato, try inspecting those fields to confirm which variable holds the event name.

If you need further help troubleshooting this integration or setting up your automation, feel free to reach out to Calendly Support directly via live chat (available if you have a paid plan) or by emailing support@calendly.com. They can help guide you step-by-step.

Hope this helps!
