I’m reaching out to request a critical feature for Calendly’s API: an endpoint to get/retrieve poll data. This capability is essential for my business, and I believe it would benefit many other developers in the community as well.

The Problem

My team is building workflows in the financial industry where meetings need to be seamless and easy -- often requiring our internal users to leverage multiple systems to schedule, log, and execute the meeting. Currently, Calendly’s API (as of 29-Apr-2025) does NOT allow us to fetch meeting poll results, so there is no way to determine which events are ready to be scheduled across hundreds of scheduled meetings. This limitation causes friction:

  • Clients expect instant scheduling once availability is confirmed.
  • Scrolling through hundreds of meetings and emails to determine which are ready for scheduling takes significant time, leading to drop-offs and lost business.
  • In competitive markets, delays in scheduling can result in clients choosing faster alternatives.

For context, we’ve explored Rally and Vyte as alternatives because their API supports querying poll data. We’ve yet to make the switch as some of our team is already using Calendly, and switching creates it’s own friction. We’d strongly prefer to stay within Calendly’s ecosystem if this functionality can be added.

Request

Can the Calendly team prioritize this feature? I’m confident it would help many developers build better integrations and keep Calendly competitive. If this is already on the roadmap, I’d appreciate any updates or timelines. For now, we’re stuck with workarounds that don’t scale, and I’d love to avoid asking our customers to switch to another platform.

Thank you for considering this request—I’m happy to provide more details about our use case if needed!
