We are trying to create an event (a meeting) through the API but when doing it as in its documentation it sends me a 404 errorhttps://api.calendly.com/scheduled_events/ Does anyone know how to achieve this?

Hi,

It is not currently possible to create a scheduled event via the public API. API functionality is limited to listing, viewing, and cancelling events.

Thanks,
Matt

When will it exist?

Hey @highlead we are still unsure whether this will become a feature in the future! It’s one of the points of feedback we get and hope to evaluate how it could fit into our product roadmap. In the short term, you can embed your Calendly event types so that invitee can schedule wherever HTML is supported. You can see the embed process covered here: https://help.calendly.com/hc/en-us/articles/223147027-Embed-options-overview

This lack of api functionality is the sole reason I’ll be cancelling my Calendly subscription. I’ve been very happy with the service, but I don’t understand Calendly’s refusal to allow scheduling events through the API. It seems to me this would be the most useful feature of the API, so I can integrate Calendly into my PowerAutomate client onboarding flow. Using the PA GUI automation is too buggy. My CRM and payment is through Square.com, and I use their API to create the customer file, invoice, and contract, instantly and automatically from the info I enter in my PA form. It’s just nonsensical that I have to manually create the Calendly event afterwards. Unless Calendly comes to their senses, or otherwise provides a Square.com integration, I won’t be renewing anymore.
