We are trying to create an event (a meeting) through the API but when doing it as in its documentation it sends me a 404 errorhttps://api.calendly.com/scheduled_events/ Does anyone know how to achieve this?
Hi,
It is not currently possible to create a scheduled event via the public API. API functionality is limited to listing, viewing, and cancelling events.
Thanks,
Matt
When will it exist?
Hey
This lack of api functionality is the sole reason I’ll be cancelling my Calendly subscription. I’ve been very happy with the service, but I don’t understand Calendly’s refusal to allow scheduling events through the API. It seems to me this would be the most useful feature of the API, so I can integrate Calendly into my PowerAutomate client onboarding flow. Using the PA GUI automation is too buggy. My CRM and payment is through Square.com, and I use their API to create the customer file, invoice, and contract, instantly and automatically from the info I enter in my PA form. It’s just nonsensical that I have to manually create the Calendly event afterwards. Unless Calendly comes to their senses, or otherwise provides a Square.com integration, I won’t be renewing anymore.
While we currently don’t support creating events directly via the API, this is something our team is actively reviewing. We understand the value this feature could bring, particularly for streamlining workflows like client onboarding and integrating with platforms like Square. Your feedback is incredibly valuable in helping us prioritize improvements, and I’ll make sure your use case is shared directly with our product team.
In the meantime, if there’s anything we can do to help optimize your current setup or explore potential workarounds, feel free to let us know. Thank you again for your honest input!
If they incorporate the functionality of being able to schedule an appointment in a created event, Calendly would grow exponentially. I develop AI agents and with that feature I could ask my agent to book me a doctor just by sending him an audio.
I wish see it soon
