You are new to Calendly and trying to find ways to maximize the features that come with your plan. You are busy - SO busy!!! You want to automate as much of your work as you can (so do I - who doesn’t?!), and you’re looking for solutions to make that happen. In addition to our Workflows feature allowing you to send automated reminders, followups and more to your invitees after they book, our Meeting Polls feature that allows you to offer times to a group of people and have them do the choosing and scheduling for you, and our Routing Forms that will automatically send an invitee to the appropriate event type for booking (along with other automated processes, like all of your bookings automatically being pushed to your “add to” calendar) - we offer integrations that will assist with automating more tasks - like Zapier!
With Zapier, you can easily trigger actions in the other apps after a Calendly event is scheduled or canceled. You can review more about specific functions and available apps in Zapier here!
If the software or database you are hoping to connect is a published app in Zapier that accepts actions, then you can integrate your system with Calendly. You can think of Zapier as the "middleman" between Calendly and other apps. This integration is a unilateral “push only” integration so Calendly can trigger actions through Zapier to your database, but you will not have the ability to pull data from your database into Calendly. It’s a “one way street” so to speak!
