If you are an owner attempting to add a new user to your organization but have run into an issue, or, if you are a Calendly user attempting to join a new organization and can’t - you’ve landed on the right topic!
Users:
With Calendly, you can only be a member of one organization at a time, and it looks like you previously owned or accepted an invitation to join another organization.
To resolve this, you can reach out to your current account owner to have them remove you from their organization. (I truly wish that we could make this happen for you - but only your current organization owner can!) Here is a brief article about that option you can pass along to the account owner as a reference: Remove users and paid seats from your account.
Once your current owner has removed you from their organization, you should be able to accept the new invitation!
Owners:
Like stated above, you can only be the member of one Calendly organization at a time. If you previously set up your account as an organization, Calendly will consider you to still be part of that organization - so let’s fix it!
To resolve this, please complete the following:
- Remove all Active and Pending users in your organization.
To remove a user, visit your Admin Management page, click the check box next to the user’s name, and select ‘Remove members’. - Remove the paid seats from the Billing page.
- Delete any Shared event types that you may have set up.
To delete a Shared event type, from your Home page, scroll down to your Shared event types. Select the Gear icon for the Shared event type, and select ‘Delete’. Repeat for all Shared event types that are set up. - Delete any teams that you may have set up.
To delete a team, from your Home page click on the ‘My Calendly’ dropdown, then select ‘All Teams’. From that page, select the Gear icon next to a team and select ‘Delete Team’. Repeat for all teams that are set up.
Once the above steps are completed, you should have no issue joining a new organization — but if you do, we’ll be here to help!
