Hi Calendly team,

I’ve seen multiple threads, including one from 9 months ago, where users asked about integration with Google Business Profile to enable the “Schedule” button that appears directly on search results — similar to platforms like MassageBook, Acuity, and Square Appointments.

At the time, it was mentioned this request would be forwarded to developers. Is there any update or timeline for this? The lack of this feature is really limiting visibility for local service businesses like mine. There are forum posts dating back over two years asking for this functionality.

I love using Calendly, but I’m now seriously considering switching to a different platform just for this feature — and I know I’m not alone. Is this something you’re actively working on, or should those of us who need direct Google integration start looking elsewhere?

Thanks in advance — transparency here would go a long way.

Hi @ZenWithBen - Thanks for reaching out. I’ve seen a few users achieve this before, to my knowledge the only thing you can do is add your Calendly link to their Google My Business listing, which will appear when people search for the business on Google Maps. I’ve added instructions below:

Here's how to do it:

  1. Log in to your Google My Business account and select the location you want to add the Calendly link to.
  2. Click on the "Info" tab and scroll down to the "Appointment URL" section.
  3. Paste the Calendly link into the text box and save your changes.
  4. Your Calendly link will now be visible on your Google My Business listing, which will appear when people search for your business on Google Maps.

If this works let me know! Otherwise I’ll get this over to our product team to see if we have a timeline on this.

Thank you.

Hi David,

Thank you for your reply and for confirming that adding a Calendly link through the Appointment URL field is currently the only available option.

I wanted to respectfully pass along that while the link does appear, it does not create a “Book Online” button experience like MassageBook, Square Appointments, Acuity, and other platforms that are Reserve with Google partners.

As a business owner, this difference is significant:

  • Having a direct “Book Online” button dramatically improves customer booking rates from Google search and maps.
  • Other providers have had Reserve with Google integration for several years now.
  • This issue has been raised by users multiple times over the past 2+ years in Calendly’s forums and communities.
  • I have already completed the available workaround steps, but the functionality gap remains.

Could you please escalate this again to your product and development team?

If there is a more official timeline (even if long-term) for Calendly to become a Reserve with Google partner and enable direct Google Booking buttons, it would really help us small businesses plan better.

If this feature isn’t on the roadmap, many of us will need to consider alternative platforms that support Reserve with Google to better optimize our customer booking flows.

Thank you again for passing this feedback along and for any updates you can provide.

Hi @ZenWithBen - Thanks for reaching out!

I really appreciate all the additional information here, it helps a ton!

It's something we'd love to see happen as well. Our Product team is aware of the request and currently looking into it, but I'm unaware of where exactly it sits on the roadmap. We'll keep passing along the feedback to build more support for it and hopefully see it much sooner rather than later. I’ve asked for any updates, so as soon I hear anything I’ll be sure to update the thread.

I’ve escalated the request with them again, every bit of feedback helps.

Let me know if you have any questions.
