Hi,

I’m experiencing an issue with availability settings on my website, where I’ve integrated Calendly for scheduling appointments. Here’s the problem:

  1. I’ve set my availability in Calendly to specific time slots 9 AM - 5 PM.
  2. My account is set to the correct time zone CST.
  3. The embed on my website displays the scheduling widget correctly.

However, when users from different time zones try to book, the available slots either don’t reflect their local time properly or show as unavailable. I’ve double-checked the time zone settings in my Calendly account and confirmed that my calendar is synced correctly (Google Calendar).

Is there a specific setting I’m missing to ensure that availability updates dynamically for users in different time zones?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi @Kimpollard!

Yes it sounds like you’ve done everything correctly here! In this case, the first thing I would check is the Time Zone Display settings in your event options. You can find this setting by editing your event, then selecting Scheduling Settings. You’ll find the option at the bottom of the page:

You’ll want to ensure its set to Use Invitee’s. From there, Calendly will detect the users time zone based off of their specific browser settings. But they will also be supplied with a dropdown where they can select their own time if it seems incorrect:

Let me know if you have any questions!

Thank you for the detailed guidance! I reviewed the Time Zone Display settings as suggested, and noticed that it was set to a fixed time zone instead of "Use Invitee's." After making the adjustment, the issue has been resolved, and users are now seeing the correct availability in their local time zones. The dropdown option for time zone selection is also a helpful addition for clarity. I appreciate your assistance in pointing me toward the specific setting. This small tweak has made a big difference in ensuring a seamless scheduling experience for my website visitors. Thanks again for your prompt and effective support!
