Hey there, Michael! Great question! Firstly, check out our New User Guide - it’ll def prove helpful as you get used to the platform!
When blocking off any time on your connected O365 calendar you must make sure that time is marked as “busy” and not “free” for Calendly to read it as a conflict in order to avoid being booked over those time blocks. With O365 specifically, you can also set up Calendly to read “tentative” and “away/working elsewhere” as well as “OOO” as busy conflicts. You can do this by heading to your Calendar Connection page and clicking “edit” next to your check for conflicts section.
I hope this helps!
Thank you Kelsi!
I didn’t realize that there is no travel time within Office365 calenders. (https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook_com/forum/all/add-travel-time-to-a-meeting-within-outlook/ef7f18fb-9650-4966-a491-df13362034fa)
On an Apple Calendar it’s possible to use travel time - even on Office 365 calenders imported by Apple Calendar: https://support.apple.com/guide/calendar/add-location-and-travel-time-to-events-icl43600/mac But it doesn’t show up within Office 365.
Now it’s clear to me, why I’m always overbooked :)
All the best,
Michael
