I’ve been using “book follow-up meeting” to manage regular meetings that recur, but not always at the same time every week.

This works great, except that the mobile-phone information from the original meeting is lost.  This means I have to search through my emails to copy and paste the mobile phone number from the original meeting.

Is this some kind of intentional feature, or just a bug?  Does anyone know of a better work-around?

Thanks!

Hi @David42452, sorry you aren’t getting all the information you need into your follow-up bookings. I can imagine that would be frustrating, especially if you have text workflows built into your process. We need to make a distinction here in the initial booking process. There is required information Calendly needs in order to successfully book a meeting on both your and your invitee’s digital calendar. That includes Name and Email. Then there are custom questions that collect extra information about your guest. Phone numbers fall into this category. For follow up meetings, Calendly does pre-fill necessary booking information, like Name and Email, but at this time it does not automatically carry over answers to custom questions. This is why your invitee’s phone number isn’t automatically appearing in that field. Thank you for flagging this though. This is a good idea and I’ve marked it as such in our system. I’ll make sure our product team reviews this post when considering updates to our tool.
