I have recurring events where agents book meetings with clients onto my calendar. I would like for both the agent and the client to be added as invitees, with all the associated confirmation emails, but I’m not seeing a way to do so without a lot of extra steps. I’m looking for:

  • Agent goes to booking page
  • Agent enters their email and information
  • Agent enters client’s email and information
  • Both agent and client are automatically added to the event

Currently I have a one-on-one event, and I have to choose between adding either the agent or the client as the invitee. I can intake the other’s info, but they’re not added as an invitee. I’ve seen some workarounds that involve rescheduling the event once confirmed and adding the second invitee, or I could do a group event with a limit of 2 and have the agent schedule twice, once for them and once for the client, but these all seem cumbersome and error-prone.

Is there an event type and setting that would let one person book an event automatically for two invitees?

Calendly’s 1-on-1 events only allow one invitee per booking — there isn’t a native way to automatically include a second guest.

Current options:

  • Group Event workaround: Create a group event with a capacity of 2. The agent books two “spots” — one with their info, one with the client’s — but this is clunky.

  • Manually add later: Let the agent book for the client, then add the agent (or vice-versa) as an extra guest in the calendar invite after it’s created.

  • Use a workflow/integration: Tools like Zapier/Make or a custom API call can capture both emails from the booking form and automatically add the second person to the calendar event.

Calendly doesn’t yet support a built-in “book once for two invitees” flow.
