We want to be able to bulk add hosts to event types whenever we have new staff join.  Why is there no bulk uploader or manager for events.  For example:

 

User A is a part of 15 Calendly events and 3 teams that they manage on behalf of an advisor.

User B is joining the team and we want to add them to all 15 events and 3 teams.

 

Currently we have to go one by one into the events to add the new user.  Is there a better way?

In this case, I would start by looking how the events and teams are built currently. Right now, we have a few options when it comes to managing groups of users:

  • If you have multiple Team Pages created, there is an option to enable that, when a user is added to the team, automatically add them to all events under that team. I would make sure this is enabled so you’re not adding them to the team first, then each event type. This is better used when working with Round Robin events and Collective events

  • If your organization uses Managed Eventsyou can create events & templates for your users. Then you can assign those events to specific groups. This way, you’d only need to add the person to any groups necessary, then they’ll be assigned those events automatically. This is best used for One-on-one and Group Events:
     

 

 

I would take a look and see how the organization is setup between these two options first, its definitely a lot of work if you’re adding each new user to all of those events manually. Let me know if you have any questions, would love to help find a way to better automate this!
