Is there any way Location Type analytics can be added? I need to be able to run reports for my team to assess the frequency of locations used (i.e., Zoom vs. in-person).

Hi @Katie Harden, at this time there is not a way to quickly get that information from the analytics area in Calendly. This is a good idea though and I’ve marked as such in our system. I’ll make sure our product team sees this post when they consider changes to Calendly.

That said, I can imagine a couple of workarounds. One involves routing and the other using Zoom’s native reporting.

  1. If you created two meetings, one always in person and the other always on Zoom you could set up a screener question to qualify where people will prefer to meet ahead of time. Since you have two meetings, you should be able to compare the number of completed events between the two. The limitation here is if meeting location is dependent on scheduling availability, ie. the invitee will need to look at the hosts calendar before deciding whether the meeting should be in person or online. More on how to set that up screener questions and routing forms on our blog → Calendly forms: Screen and qualify people before they book with you
  2. The next, and probably most flexible, way you could do this is to compare Calendly analytics to a Zoom report. In this workflow you will leave the meeting as-is and pull whatever report you are looking for from Calendly, ie. total completed events at a given timeframe. Then use Zoom’s native reporting to track the same meeting over the same time period. The discrepancy in numbers should give you the number of times your team’s meeting was conducted in-person. This does rely on there being only two meeting locations. If you have other meeting locations you would have to pull those reports as well. I will say, Calendly’s reporting area is somewhat limited but you should be able to filter by event type. More on Calendly analytics with this Help Center Article → Calendly Analytics
