Hey there @Ravenswood25825 - great questions! Check out our New User Guide and our Company Admin Guide as you learn your way around Calendly. They’ll both prove very helpful!
So, to clear up some confusion - Calendly bookings will always be “conflicts” - marking a Calendly booking “free” on your connected calendar will not result in that time slot being freed up in Calendly, as Calendly does not allow overlapping bookings for a host.
If you and your colleagues are hoping to be available at the same time, you will have to have separate Calendly accounts and “seats” within your Calendly organization, along with separate availability and connected calendars etc.
We have plenty of resources for you to learn about creating a team and setting up team events! The first step is adding your desired team members to your account from your Admin Management page. Then, you can set up a team page. Your team page will have all of your events specific to that team: round robin or collective.
Round Robin events will allow your invitees to book an appointment at any time at least one assigned team member is available. Collective events allow invitees to book an appointment when all assigned team members are available. If you'd like a more thorough breakdown of the team features, check out this recording that walks through the basics of using Calendly with your team.
As far as availability issues go - you can get a more thorough understanding of what’s going on by troubleshooting. You can use our Troubleshooting availability tool on your scheduling page in order to understand what's causing the conflict. I find it to be super helpful and it resolves most availability issues.
I hope this helps!
