calendly not syncing new appointments from outlook

I have connected calendly with an outlook.com account.
Appointments made in calendly can be seen in Outlook calender, they also can the be canceled via Outlook.

If I make a new appointment in Outlook, I can’t see it in calendly.

Is this normal or what must be done?

Events from Outlook will not display in Calendly, however, if any of the events in Outlook are marked as Busy they will block off time in your booking pages. As an example:


Here Calendly is picking up events from my connected calendar, and blocking off those times from being available - But the events themselves will not display.
