Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing an issue with the Stripe-Calendly integration for a video consultation booking system with payment.

Situation:

  • My Stripe account is definitely in TEST mode (purple banner visible on dashboard)
  • I have set up the integration between Calendly and Stripe
  • I'm trying to test a booking using the Stripe test card (4242 4242 4242 4242)

Issue: When validating the payment on Calendly, I get the following error: "Your card was declined. Your request was made in live mode, but used a known test card."

This error is contradictory since I'm certain I'm in test mode on Stripe. I've already tried disconnecting/reconnecting the integration but the problem persists.

Has anyone encountered this issue before or have any suggestions on how to fix it?

There isn't a test payment mode on Calendly unfortunately. So the test payment will need to be made with a dollar payment for testing. Based on the error, it looks like you are in live mode, but using a test card from Stripe. So using an actual card to test the functionality would be needed. I suggest setting the payment for the booking to $1 to test it, then changing it back when sending it to clients.
