Canceling a Calendly appointment should also cancel the associated Teams meeting

An attendees has cancelled an appointment but the attendee gets a Teams calendar invite . See below.

 

Would appreciate some help as this is causing a lot of confusion.

This looks to be expected behavior - Canceled events will update the Calendar entry with ‘Canceled’ and display as such - Are you expecting them to be removed fully from the Calendar?

We’ve had several people complain as the cancellation looks exactly as the original meeting so they are following up with us to ensure it has been cancelled.

 

I understand that ‘Canceled” is display but the visual cues are the same as a normal meeting. Why is  “Accept”, “Tentative” “Decline” still available buttons when the meeting has been canceled? This creates cognitive dissonance that is leading to confusion.

Ideally the meeting is removed from their calendar and an email is sent confirming the meeting has been cancelled and they can reschedule if the need to.
