Cancelled meetings no longer showing up in calendar
When a guest cancelled a meeting, the event used to stay in my calendar but show as cancelled. Now it just vanishes and I can’t see what previously occupied the newly created hole in my diary.
Have I changed something without meaning to? How can I get it to show cancelled meetings again?

Hi @Caroline26406,
If your invitee successfully rescheduled with you, you should see it in your upcoming meetings. Once you click on the meeting there will be a note on the top of the meeting that notes it was rescheduled.
Meetings → Upcoming → find your individual meeting
If you aren’t seeing it in upcoming meetings you may need to reset your calendar sync. You can do that by heading to your Calendar Connection page and clicking the “trashcan” icon next to your connected calendar. Then, reconnect by clicking the button next to the desired calendar type. Once you’ve done this, go ahead and test it out by booking and rescheduling a meeting with yourself.
**Note: Notes in the upcoming meeting won’t say anything about the previous time. However, you should have received both an email notification upon the initial event being accepted as well as an email when the meeting was rescheduled. To find this quickly search your email for “UPDATED:” You can narrow the search by searching for that keyword only for emails from “notifications@calendly.com”
I hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions.
Sorry not to be clear, this isn’t what I was asking.
It’s about cancelled meetings, not rescheduled ones.
I want to see cancelled meetings in my Outlook calendar, even though they won’t happen. Otherwise I don’t know why my day suddenly has gaps in it. I know I get the email notification but I still want to be able to see it in my outlook calendar (which syncs to Calendly).
Sometimes a cancelled meeting stays in outlook and says ‘Cancelled: name of meeting) and other times it just disappears.
Why is this and how can I get cancelled meetings to show up all the time?
Hi @Caroline26406 - Thanks for reaching back out.
Are all of these meetings being cancelled by your invitees? Or are some cancelled by invitees and others cancelled on your end through Calendly? Let me know!
I can dig a bit deeper from there.
They’re all cancelled by invitees
I run a small business and my clients book their own appointments using either public or private links. I’m not sure if they count as invitees or not. Would that make a difference, ie whether it’s a public or a private link?
@Caroline26406 still digging into this one, are both the private and public links through the same Calendly account? Or do these operate through separate accounts/calendars? Any other information you can share on this would be helpful! :)
Both through the same account and both sync with my outlook calendar
