The current edit details function for a scheduled meeting does not appear to allow editing of the meeting description itself, which includes the attendees. Occasional errors are made when 3rd parties are scheduling meetings on one's calendar that require correction.

 

Is there any way to edit this description for a scheduled meeting? I can find no means of doing so on any of the menus for existing scheduled meetings. Please advise

Unfortunately you can’t update meeting descriptions once they’ve been scheduled. For Group Meetings you have a few options for editing invitees. You can reschedule an invitee, remove an invitee, or change the meeting’s invitee limit. That said, you can always reconfigure the invitee list and meeting description on your connected calendar. I’m leaving a resource about group events and rescheduling below.
