Summarizing again.. this issue persists with our organization. It would actually seem like a very beneficial requirement for lots of org’s.
We can’t change the Meeting Host of an already scheduled event, without hitting “reschedule”. However this triggers a bunch of customer-facing emails and notices of changes. We want to “quietly” change the meeting host internally of our team to handle customer demo’s etc. Very frustrating, as current work around is we have to create a Separeate Calendar Event (in a different calendar) and input a bunch of info on what the NEW host will be. This requires the existing host to remember to look at that event before the meeting starts.
