Summarizing again.. this issue persists with our organization. It would actually seem like a very beneficial requirement for lots of org’s.

We can’t change the Meeting Host of an already scheduled event, without hitting “reschedule”. However this triggers a bunch of customer-facing emails and notices of changes. We want to “quietly” change the meeting host internally of our team to handle customer demo’s etc. Very frustrating, as current work around is we have to create a Separeate Calendar Event (in a different calendar) and input a bunch of info on what the NEW host will be. This requires the existing host to remember to look at that event before the meeting starts.

At this time Calendly doesn’t support the kind of event host change you are describing. Usually users can find a workaround by changing details or sharing meetings on their connected calendars rather than through Calendly. It is difficult giving advice since I can’t see exactly how your connected calendars are setup but having all Calendly connect to a single, shared, organization-wide calendar makes some of this management easier. I would also investigate host options/settings in your video conferencing client. All that said, I am going to mark this post as a feature request so our team sees this when they consider updating our product.
