I am super confused about a time zone issue I am experiencing. I have read various posts on here but they haven’t helped.
I’ll try to outline things simply. I have checked the settings in my availability schedule in Calendly, and in the settings for each event and the time zone is correct - UK Ireland/Lisbon time. And my clients see my availability correctly. When they book a meeting with me it goes into my Outlook calendar at the correct time. But the email that I receive when they make the booking, entitled ‘New Event’, always has the Event/Date time in Eastern Time - US and Canada. I have checked my Outlook settings and the time zone is correct for the UK.
This is really confusing. How can I rectify this? I have read that it might be due to the client’s/invitees calendar settings, but it happens every time any client makes a booking. Currently all of my clients are on UK time although it’s likely some might be abroad in due course.

Hi @Nickie03412,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m sorry to hear this is happening.
I see that you have double-checked your availability schedule’s time zone settings as well as your outlook calendar settings, that’s great!
Typically, the ‘New Event’ email will send your confirmations following the time-zone that you have set in your Account Settings. Can you please check the time zone that you have set in your Account Settings to make sure you’re set to UK Ireland/Lisbon time in your account settings?
These time zone settings will also affect how your meeting times are displayed on the Meetings page, so if you’ve been seeing Eastern Time - US and Canada appear on that page as well, this should solve that for you, too.
I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need any further assistance!
Thanks Sam. I have done this and it’s worked.
Hello,
One of our employees is encountering a similar issue. We have run the checks to make sure that her time zone is correct as UK Ireland/Lisbon time. All time zone settings have been checked and I can confirm that they are all UK Ireland/Lisbon time. We have checked her Outlook time zone settings too,
The client booked the meeting for 4.30pm. The meeting invite is in the employee’s diary for 4.30pm. However, the email confirming the booking to the client and employee states 3.30pm. Please find screenshot attached.
Please can you help us fix this as causing confusion for our clients and the employee?
I have this issue - all my settings including my profile/account timezone settings are set to Brisbane, yet it’s defaulting to US/Canada? I am trying to set up in-person meetings.
I have locked/unlocked this feature numerous times with no change to the problem! it still exists
Hi @Den23038,
Well that’s very weird - and not ideal! I think at this point sending you over to my peers in Support who can look into your account and settings makes the most sense (not something we can do here on Community for privacy reasons). Mind heading over here and kicking off that process?
