Do events of different durations roll-up into one master calendar for Calendly to provide correct availability across event calendars?
I want to schedule 3 + event types (three different coaching offers) that have different durations and numbers of sessions. I get that I can create 3 event types, one for each offer. But I want to make sure if someone schedules me for Tuesday for a 75-minute appointment starting at 2pm for Offer A, no one can schedule me for 3pm for a different package.
Can someone clarify if Calendly accounts for this and other than creating the 3 event types with their durations, can I stipulate how many sessions they can schedule, and not have double bookings happen across event types?

Hi @Shandel - Thanks for reaching out!
Yes, this all happens by default! As soon as one of your events are booked, Calendly will account for it and block off all other events from scheduling at that time.
So if someone schedules a 2pm on Event A, Events B & C can’t book at that time.
Let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks. That’s fantastic! Can you clarify if it is possible for users to sign up for more than one 1:1 session but limit the number of sessions to a single session, 2 sessions, and 4 sessions, respectively per package? Do they sign up at one for all in a series or one at a time?
Hi @Shandel! It is possible to sign up for multiple sessions, but setting a hard limit on how many is not a direct feature at this time.
Right now, users will create a few Single Use Links through Calendly and send them to the customer, then they’ll just need to sign up for each one individually. You can read more on this here: How to create a single-use link
However, our team is working on a new feature that will make this process a lot easier for people offering multiple bookings in one go. More to come on this later so keep an eye out!
Very helpful. Odd, but helpful.
One more question regarding my setup. I didn’t understand that with the current free version, I can only create one event type. So, I went ahead and created 3. Now I can’t turn them on.
I have three offerings so far: Coaching Package 1, Coaching Package 2, and Coaching Package 3 (real names disguised for fun. Selection and payment will take place through Kit. I wanted to provide a link from each of those respective product page payment confirmation pages to schedule the appointment.
Is there an alternative to setting this up in a somewhat seamless way other than paying for Calendly right now (as I haven’t launched any of my programs and am trying to manage costs)?
I have several platforms I am using, and each comes at cost of time and money or one or the other.
Thanks for any transparency here.
Best,
Sheri
Hi @Shandel - Yes at this time with the Free plan, you’re only able to have one event active at a time. However, if you create a single-use link you are able to edit the names and availability on the spot before you share it. So you could still work out of one event, but it would require a bit more work before you share it. It would look something like this:
