Hello, is possible to mark as book event only those meeting who will reconfirm by the customer?

Now, the way Calendly works is that every customer who books an event will automatically be marked as "booked," and that particular time slot will become unavailable for others to book. However, I would prefer to only consider those meetings as "booked" when the customer clicks on the confirmation link to secure their spot.

Hey there @Ficho58866 - thanks for posting this topic, and great question! Firstly, check out our New User Guide - it’ll def prove helpful as you get used to the platform!

Unfortunately, Calendly does not currently support manual confirmations. We’ve found that manual confirmation increases the steps you have to take to book meetings. Not having to confirm, deny or reschedule a booking eliminates the email back-and-forth of scheduling.

However, you can certainly reschedule or cancel events from your Scheduled Events tab as necessary!

To help you maintain control, we’ve also provided lots availability setting options so you don’t have to worry about confirming (or reconfirming). When you set your desired availability, the only options invitees have are the time slots that you’re truly prepared for. Here’s some more information about this: Schedules and defining your availability. For greater control over who can schedule with you, you might also consider using secret event types or single-use links!

I know this isn't exactly what you wanted to hear but do hope the information helps, at least somewhat!

Okay, do you have option to block more than one booking from the same IP adress? Because, I have Barber Shop and I want to avoid fake appointments..

Hi @Ficho58866,

We don’t have the ability to block by IP, domain, etc. right now, but it’s something we’ll certainly relay to our Product team as feedback.

One thing to consider might be a bit of a change to your workflow. My hairdresser for example has all first time clients fill out a form just super briefly addressing what they’re looking for, hair concerns, etc. After she’s had a chance to review and feels confident the potential client isn’t fake, then she sends out her Calendly scheduling page. She also includes that scheduling page whenever she sends out news, coupons, promos, etc. to her existing client list. It’s usually a great reminder that I need to go get a trim!

Hope that helps a bit. We’re happy to brainstorm with you if you need any other help!
