Hi gang,

Can we customize the content of notification emails we receive from Calendly? 
For example: when received in gmail change the original name from 
Calendly to NEW MEETING and/or add an image in the profile? 

 

Hey there @ERIC26831 - great question! If you are referring to customizing the email notifications your invitees receive, yes (and no) is the answer to your question(s)! 

Firstly - for some context, with Calendly, there are two types of invitee booking notifications: Email Confirmations & Calendar invitations.

  1. With Email ConfirmationsCalendly sends the invitee an email notification from notifications@calendly.com and has a reply-to address that's associated with your Calendly login email. You can modify this on Account Settings page.
  2. With Calendar Invitations, your connected calendar sends the invitee a notification of the booked meeting which has a reply-to address that's associated with your Add to calendar email on your Calendar Connection page.

Note: Calendar invitations are not compatible with iCloud Calendar or the Outlook Plugin (for Windows users). Users with either of these calendar connections set up as their "add-to calendar" on their Calendar Connection page will be defaulted to Email Confirmations. 

You can customize the content of both of these notifications by heading into an event type > clicking “communications” > clicking the three dots next to either “email confirmations” or “calendar invitations” > editing from there. For “calendar invitations” editing the title will also edit the name of the calendar event for you and the invitee. For “email confirmations” editing the subject line will change the title of the email confirmation for the invitee. At this time, none of our communications/notifications (booking notifications or Workflows) support attachments, to include images. However, you can include hyper links that lead to forms and other resources! 

As it pertains the the confirmation email you, the host, receives with each booking - these cannot currently be customized/changed.
