My clients are receiving meeting reminders after the appointment has been changed or cancelled.

Why is this happening and how do I stop this?

Hey @Cindy38143, doing some digging about this as this isn’t expected behavior. Can you confirm how the meetings are being changes/cancelled? Are you updating meetings in Calendly or are you updating them directly in your calendar? Also, can you let us know which calendar client you are using, Google or Outlook?

Hi Sean,

That’s a great question. I think the issue arises when I cancel through my Google calendar.

Hi @Cindy38143 - In this case, I’d make sure that your Sync Settings are correct on your Calendar Connection page here: https://calendly.com/app/availability/calendar_settings

You should see an option that says ‘Automatically sync changes from this calendar to Calendly’ this will make sure any meetings that are cancelled in your calendar, are synced over to Calendly as well:

Let me know if this works!

Yes, I made this change last week. I’m wondering if the issue was that I cancelled appointments through my Google calendar before I changed the sync status.
