Hi,

I want to know if it’s possible to modify the duration of an event to be 2 day.

In more details, when the user book the event, his calendar will be booked for today and the next day.

 Thanks!

Hey! This is a great question that we get more often than you might think!

At this time, it is not possible to book an event in Calendly for 24 hours+ - so events cannot span over two days. There is not a super great work around to be offered here, either - while you could advise that invitees book two days in a row, that would require making sure that there is always empty time the day after a booking, which is not quite possible.

One thing you could do is this:

Create a public one-on-one event type that has availability gaps. For example: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays are available while Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays are not. Include verbiage in the description and in an email reminder that invitees booking will receive a separate invite from you for the second day of the event. Then, create a secret one-on-one event type available on the off days (Tues/Thurs/Sat) and take the invitee’s details once they book in order to book a second day for them. While this requires you to manually ensure you book a second date for each invitee, you could potentially loop in a third-party tool like Zapier to keep an ongoing spreadsheet of bookings so that you can check them off as you book their secondary days. (Our Zapier integration is available on our Standard plan and up.)

You can also use our redirect tool to send invitees to the secret event type to book their second date themselves, immediately from the first date!

I know this is a little confusing (or maybe it’s not!) - so don’t hesitate to ask clarifying questions if you need to!
