Event will not turn on without adding a subscription

Hi,

My event was working well until about 2 weeks in and now it keeps asking me to upgrade and the event will not switch on?

Firstly, I’m sorry to hear this! Let’s clarify a few things: 

  1. On the free plan, you can have one active event type
  2. This event type must be a one-on-one event type
  3. You cannot use Group Event Types, Collective Event Types or Round Robin Event Types on the free plan, even if they are the only event type you have created

The most likely issues when I hear a user stating they cannot turn on an event type without upgrading are: 

  • You were on the two weeks Free Teams Trial period which has now ended, and
  • You created an event type other than a one-on-one event type during that trial, or
  • You were on a paid plan which you have cancelled, and
  • You created an event type other than a one-on-one event type when on a paid plan, or
  • You are on a paid plan that does not support the event type you are trying to turn on (Round Robin event on a Standard plan)

If you are attempting to turn on a group, collective or round robin event type you will need to upgrade to the corresponding plans. Group Event Types and Collective Event Types can be created/turned on with our Standard plan. Round Robin Event Types can be created/turned on with our Teams Plan. You can read more about our plans, pricing and features on our Pricing Page! Note: an annual subscription will result in a 20% discount for all paid plans!
