Theoratically, after successfully booking a Google Meet meeting through calendly, adding new meeting participants and sending the link to the new participant can allow the new participant to attend without the consent of the people who make appointments of meetings. However, what happened here is that I added another member and also informed the client that there was a new participant. But when it came to the appointed time, my colleague needed to apply to join the meeting, but the client said he did not receive any application, and my colleague could not join the meeting. Did anyone encountered this situation? How should this problem be solved?

Hi @Emma01121 - Could you tell me more about what happened here?

It sounds like you invited another user to the Meeting, but they weren’t able to join via Google Meet? Did you add them to the calendar event or just send them the Meeting Link? Did they see any errors when attempting to join?

Let me know! Any additional information helps here.

Yes. I had added them to the participant information via Google Meet, but I did not add them to the calendar event via calendly. Is it the reason why they could not join in the meeting? I did not notice where I can add their information via calendly, your advice would be highlt appreciated if you are familiar with this situation.

Thats definitely a possibility. In the future I’d recommend adding them to the Calendar Event directly and see if that allows them to join. I’ve had more success with it that way, personally.

Otherwise, I’d also try contacting Google support to see if they’re seeing any errors on their end. Since this is a bit outside of Calendly, we are only able to see so much.

But let me know if you have any questions!😃
