Feature Request: Update availability when rescheduling

When I go to reschedule a meeting. The current time of the meeting is blocked as busy. For example, If I have a 3pm Meeting for 1hr in Calendly, and I need to push the meeting back a half hour, I can’t reschedule to 3:30 because the time is booked by the meeting that I am in the midst of rescheduling.  If I go to reschedule a meeting. The time the meeting is currently at should be marked as open while I’m rescheduling, that would allow me to push the meeting back or forward by a little bit to accommodate participants’ schedules.

    Hm okay, thanks for checking this @Scott38784. In this case, could you also verify the calendars you have connected to your account? If there are multiple, there could be another event Calendly is seeing preventing this time from being booked. You can double check this by going here: https://calendly.com/app/personal/availability/connected_calendars

    Beyond this, if you could share a screenshot of the events in that calendar, we can investigate further - But I completely understand if you don’t want to share them here, in that case, I’d recommend reaching out to support@calendly.com or by chatting in with one of our agents. They’d be able to start a screen share and help you get to the bottom of this as well!

    Hi @Scott38784!

    Thanks for reaching out! This should be something that is happening within your account, perhaps there is another reason why 330 might be blocked off? Could you try going through the rescheduling process again and click the ‘Troubleshoot’ button? This should display specific reasons why times cannot be booked. 

    Heres a test I did on my end to show the expected behavior. (Former time should appear but still allow you to select around it):

    I did that. Exactly as I expected, it shows that it is blocked off due to an event on the calendar. The event on the calednar is the event I am trying to reschedule. Again, I am moving the start time of a 1 hour meeting back by a half hour.

    Thanks. That worked. I had two instances of the same calendar connected. One via Plug-In and one via Outlook365. I disconnected the plug-in and it works now.
