Hi Calendly Team & Community,

I have a feature suggestion that could greatly enhance user experience and team collaboration.

As an independent contractor, I manage separate calendars for each of my clients. I time-block and prioritize across all of my obligations and life roles, and Calendly has been fantastic for sharing my availability in a variety of contexts.

However, there’s an untapped vertical in availability sharing:
I often need to share my availability internally with a client-team, where I’m embedded in their ecosystem but not able to share a single calendar that strictly reflects all my blocked time. My clients want to see when I'm available alongside the rest of their team------without me needing to manually relay this information.

Shareable Calendar Link (for internal coordination / Visual Availability Overlay)

My suggestion:
Create a shareable calendar link that shows available time blocks, while keeping event content private (such as displaying busy time simply as "Busy" or a custom label).

Others could subscribe to this calendar as a read-only overlay, enabling them to view my real-time availability in a calendar format----side by side with their own schedules----rather than relying on list-style time slots or ad hoc messages.

This would be a game-changer for visual planners and cross-functional teams who want to collaborate fluidly, without bouncing between availability requests and third-party tools.

Thank you for considering these ideas, Calendly has been an invaluable tool, and I’d love to see it evolve further in this direction.

Sorry if my category is incorrect, “API + Webhook Help” - I was forced to select from 2 options, both seemingly unrelated to my post.

Hi @AnitaSenta - Thanks for sending all of this over!

I can pass it on to our product team for them to review. Hopefully we can see something like this in the future!

In the meantime, this is something available through Google by sharing your calendar with others. So in the end, it would look something like this:

Before you share it, you’ll just want to set your access permissions to See only free/busy (hide details)

You can read more about sharing your calendar here: https://support.google.com/calendar/answer/37082?hl=en

Let me know if you have any questions!

Hi @David,

Thanks for passing my feature idea along to the product team!

Just to clarify: my situation involves dozens of separate Google calendars (40+), which is exactly why I reply on Calendly and its robust settings to cross-reference my availability across all of them, with the flexibility to fine-tune availability parameters as needed.

Google doesn’t offer a way to share dozens of calendars through a single link. This route would require my client-teams to manually add every single one of my calendars to their own view just to see when I’m available, and select countless check boxes every time they want to coordinate ---- which is completely impractical and defeats the point of simplifying visibility.

As a Product Owner for SaaS products, I’m highly technical and well-versed in optimizing complex systems and integrations. I’ve thoroughly evaluated potential solutions for this type of feature, and none are easily integratable nor match Calendly’s robust settings. I meant it when I said in my post this is an “untapped vertical!”

My feature request is for a single, shareable availability overlay that automatically pulls my free/busy data from all calendars into one unified visual. This way, my internal teams can see my availability alongside their own schedules without me having to share dozens of separate calendars.

I hope this helps distinguish my need from what Google Calendar already provides
