Twice I have had someone book a meeting with me and Calendly creates four meetings that are all identical. Can anyone help? Support is not available in a timely way.

 

This is a bug which is not listed as a category that I MUST choose.

Would you be able to create a test event and send over a screenshot for each of those that are created? I haven’t heard of any issues on our end that cause duplicate events. Most of the time this happens this is due to an external integration causing a loop with events being created on the calendar. I can look into it further from there.

All the events are identical. 

I have attached an example.

I have even created a new event type from scratch and get the same behaviour.

I get only one email.

 

Any help is greatly appreciated as this will make me stop using Calendly, which I like.

 

I am integrated with Zoom (where there is only one meeting created) and Exchange.


Understood, thanks for checking this for me - One other thing I’d like to check is to see what happens when you disconnect your calendar, and try scheduling a new event. You can disconnect your calendar from this page here: https://calendly.com/app/availability/calendar_settings

Once disconnected, schedule a new test event and we’ll see if we see any events appear.

Has this been happening since you’ve started your account, or is this something new thats occurring?

It is new behaviour.  I will test it.


No calendar event was created when I disconnected Exchange.

I think support would be the next best step as they could start a phone or zoom call and dig through this issue live with you, and see the same workflow you are as well.

That chat bubble does not appear for me  any more! I even tried a different browser. Incredibly frustrating.

 

I spent an hour yesterday waiting for chat support then working with support person and even got to sharing browser view but we got cut off in the process with no way for me to reconnect.


After reconnecting to Exchange, it seems to only create one calendar invite!

 

Issue resolved though never explained.


It appears as though Functional cookies were being blocked and that was blocking chat. No idea why that started happening right when I most needed help and made no changes to the cookie settings.
