Hey there, Ana! Thanks so much for your question!
At this time there is not a way to set up both payment options within a single event type, and creating a clone of the event type in order to offer one event type per payment option is the workaround we often suggest to users with your goal and use case.
That said - while you do have to use two event types, there might be a way to make it more seamless for your users and therefor a better experience overall!
Routing forms let you request information such as industry, company size, specific interests, etc. from website visitors and automatically direct them to a specific scheduling or web page based on their responses. It's great for screening and qualifying sales leads on a website or matching clients or students to the booking page of the right subject-matter expert based on their interests, program, or other criteria. You can read more about setting up routing forms, here!
In your case - you would use a routing form to ask a question such as, “What payment method do you prefer to use today?” with the answers available, “Stripe” and “PayPal.” Then, your customer would be automatically routed to the appropriate event type per the logic you setup! This way they do not have to select the appropriate event type themselves and you do not have to direct invitees to your booking page to select from two seemingly identical event types.
Hopefully this solution offers a bit of a streamlined process for you! In the meantime, I’ll make sure to note your feedback for our product team. We truly value it!
