Is there any way to import my google calendar onto Calendly? I primarily use google but it doesn’t integrate on my website. Potential clients are able to schedule when I am not actually available

Hi @Christine24737 - Thanks for reaching out!

While you can’t import your Google Calendar events into Calendly, you can connect it so Calendly can see all of your upcoming events. You can read more on this here: How to connect your calendar

Its important to note that all subcalendars must be selected, and any events must be marked as busy. If they are marked as free, calendly will ignore those Google events.

It should be connected, but it isn’t recognizing the events that are blocked off on my google calendar. For example I have the entire day blocked off for tomorrow on my google calendar , but Calendly didn’t see it so it allowed someone to book a consult. Is there a way I should be blocking my google calendar so that Calendy recognizes it?

Hi @Christine24737 - Two things we’ll want to confirm here:

  1.  Make sure any sub-calendars are selected by going to your connections page, then selecting Edit here: https://calendly.com/app/personal/availability/connected_calendars
  2. Make sure the event in Google is set to be Busy in the event settings. All-day events will normally default to Free, but setting it to busy should allow Calendly to pick up the conflict:

If both things look correct here, try disconnecting and reconnecting the calendar, and let me know if that works!
