Hi there,

I’m setting up a Calendly event for customers to attend an in-person event, and I’d like to prevent the event duration from appearing to them. I’m concerned that showing a fixed duration (e.g., 1 hour) might discourage guests from arriving late or staying longer than that set timeframe.

I’ve explored the “Hide event details” option, but it only seems to apply to the initial landing page, once the guest moves to the confirmation step, the duration still shows.

Is there any way to completely hide or obscure the event length throughout the scheduling flow, or any recommended workaround to prevent the duration from being visible to my invitees? Any ideas for an alternative approach are appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi @SJC - Thanks for reaching out!

At this time, there is not a way to hide the event duration from the invitee. Once they book an event, that would be added to their calendar for the entire duration of it.

I do think this is a good idea, and I see the point you’re making, I’ll get this over to our product team to consider. Hopefully we’ll see something like this in the future!
