How can I automatically add a co-host to Google Meet events created by Calendly?

Hey everyone,

I’m using Calendly integrated with Google Calendar to automatically generate Google Meet links when someone books a meeting.

By default, Calendly creates the event on my Google Calendar and adds invitees as guests — but I’d like to automatically assign a co-host to those Google Meet sessions, so they can start or manage the meeting even if I’m not available.

Note: I am hold calendly account with single user, don’t want to add new user

Hi @MYLEADING80355 - Thanks for reaching out.

Right now, you’re unable to add a co-host to your events unless they are in your Calendly organization. However, if you use Google Meet, you may still be able to add co-hosts after the meeting is scheduled. I’ll leave some instructions below.

Add a co-host to an existing meeting

Important: You’ll have to be the creator of the meeting to make this change. If somebody else created the meeting then either they can add you as a co-host or transfer the meeting to you before you add co-hosts.

  1. On your desktop browser, go to Google Calendar.
  2. Click the event or meeting you want to add a co-host to.
  3. From the pop-up menu, click Edit event .
    • If your event doesn’t have a meeting attached, click Add Google Meet video conferencing.
  4. Click Video call options .
  5. In the pop-up menu, turn on Host Management .
  6. On the left, click on Co-hosts People Tab.
  7. Enter the names of the participants you want to add as a co-host.
  8. Select their name from the drop down.
  9. Click Save from within the pop-up menu.
  10. To save the Google Calendar event, click Save.
