I want to support my educators to schedule sessions in our calendar that then allows the learners to join that group event as invitees.  I am currently using the one-to-one event type for this but thought it would work to schedule an event for multiple attendees.  I am finding that it doesn’t work this way. Does anyone have suggestions for scheduling within a facilitators busy schedule and then adding that time for learners to attend the designated slot?

Thanks for any help!

Hey @Fellowship88030 - Thanks for reaching out!

I had to spend some time thinking on this one - one way I think you can go about this is creating a group event for each of your meeting hosts, then sending those booking links to your learners. You can also use our Overlapping Meetings feature if you have multiple events occurring at the same time:

Another way that we can go about this is to continue using the one-on-one event type and have your educators sign up for a slot, then any learner that wants to join, that educator can add them directly to the meeting in their calendar. This way they’ll be able to add as many invitees as they’d like at any time.

If neither of these solutions work - could you tell me a little more about the events you’re creating? How many invitees, how many events during the week, ect? I think we can find a workaround that benefits everyone here! 🙂

Thanks for these suggestions!  The educators/facilitators leading the sessions are not able to access a calendly account themselves and don’t have the ability to add the learners to their sessions.  I think my needs are likely outside the appropriate why calendly is disigned to include a team instead of outside meeting hosts.  I appreciate you taking the time to find solutions to this and I hope it provides help for others too!
