New meetings appear on my Google calendar but they don’t appear on the Calendly schedule unless i go in myself and change the availability. Shouldn’t meetings booked through Calendly appear on the schedule / availability automatically?? I’ve spent ages trying to figure this out!
Hi
Just to confirm, are these meetings that you’re hosting? Or are these Calendly meetings that you booked with other users?
For some context here, meetings that you book with another Calendly user will only show up in your calendar, not your Calendly account. However, Calendly meetings that you host will appear under your meetings page. Is this not the case?
Let me know! We can dig a bit deeper from there.
Hi David, thanks for getting back to me.
They are meetings that I am hosting - I expect the meetings to show up in my calendar to avoid being double booked. The meetings show in my Google Calender which I have synced. But not in the Calendly calender.
Does that make sense?
Warm wishes
Richard
Hi
Do these meetings also show up in your meetings page when you click this link here? https://calendly.com/app/scheduled_events/user/me
Let me know!
Hi David
I get the list of meetings as you see- -but they don’t appear on the calendly calender. Both screen shots attached
Warm wishes
Richard
Thanks for sending this over
Yes in this case, the Calendar you’re seeing on the left is the Availability Calendar, this only allows you to adjust the times and dates you’re available. But it does not display upcoming events here.
The only area upcoming events are shown are on the meetings page, and your connected calendar - Apologies for the confusion there!
Let me know if you have any questions about this.
Thanks David
So, is there any way to avoid double bookings, apart from me manually changing the availability Calendar when someone books a meeting?
Warm wishes.
Richard
By default - Anytime a Calendly event is booked and added to your meetings page, it will automatically prevent that time from appearing to other users. So If I were to book a 9am slot with myself, any other user that attempts to book with me will not see that 9pm slot!
So no need to worry about manually changing the availability, any Calendly meetings will automatically block that time off.
Ahhhhhh - I see. Thank you so much for clarifying.
Warm wishes
Richard
