Is there a way format a meeting title for an event to be the Customer’s Company Name instead of their full name if Company Name is one of the required fields on the booking page?

Hey there, @Amber34116 - thanks for your topic, and great question! Firstly, check out our New User Guide - it’ll def prove helpful as you get used to the platform!

To your point - this depends on a few things. For some context, with Calendly, there are two types of notifications: Email Confirmations & Calendar invitations.

  1. With Email ConfirmationsCalendly sends the invitee an email notification from notifications@calendly.com and has a reply-to address that's associated with your Calendly login email. You can modify this on Account Settings page.
  2. With Calendar Invitations, your connected calendar sends the invitee a notification of the booked meeting which has a reply-to address that's associated with your Add to calendar email on your Calendar Connection page.

Note: Calendar invitations are not compatible with iCloud Calendar or the Outlook Plugin (for Windows users). Users with either of these calendar connections set up as their "add-to calendar" on their Calendar Connection page will be defaulted to Email Confirmations.

With all that said - you’ll be able to edit the meeting title if you are using calendar invitations but not if you are using email confirmations

If you use calendar invitations, you can make this happen by first creating an Invitee Question On Your Booking Page that asks for the company name and is made mandatory to answer. Then, go into your event type settings > click “communications”> click to edit your calendar invitation > use variables in the title to select that invitee question to include it > save and you’re done!

I hope this helps!
