Hello,

I am on Calendly Professional.

I want to make it so link removed for privacy] doesn't book slots that clash with my ylink removed for privacy]. People have been booking appointments on both Cals and I’ve had to reschedule them - not good!

Ultimately, we will settle on only one link - but in the mean time, is there any way I can make it so that people cannot double-book the calendars? Ideally without having to log in through Gmail to synch the calendars, due to privacy reasons (but if that is the only option, that can be arranged).

Many thanks! :)

Hi @Heathcote42724,

Sounds like you and your peer are very much in demand!

If you wanted to let people book time with you both at once, a collective shared event would be the best bet. This would ensure that they can only select time that works for everyone in the meeting. And I suppose if the intention is to ensure you’re both aware of the meeting, but only one of you attends - that’s okay too! Probably best to note that on the booking page for transparency sake. More info on collective shared events here.

The other option would be a Round Robin. Your customers wouldn’t be able to pick who takes the event and your peer and you would alternate between being the host, but it would ensure you aren’t getting double booked. More info here.

In the meantime though, I think syncing calendars - either natively in Gmail or through a third party tool - would probably be easiest. Keep in mind that you can set the shared calendar to only show events are free and busy, instead of showing all event details. More on that can be found on Google’s site here.

Hope this helps!
