How to allow 2 users be their own host for events

Hi,

In our office we have 2 users (1 owner, 1 user). We need to have each user have their own calendar (be their own host) but still be able to have access to each others to schedule meetings for each other (not with each other).

The owner has used Calendly for more than a year and the user is new so we basically just want to add the new user. We don’t want to have to recreate everything the owner has already put in place.

We want to be able to have each of the Calendly calendars on our website to allow people to choose which person they wish to schedule an appointment with as well as each of us to schedule appointments for clients for either the ‘owner’ or user.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi @Pam36280 - Thanks for reaching out!

Yes of course, you can follow this guide for steps on adding a new User to your Calendly Organization (How to add or remove users and seats) Once they’re added, they’ll be able to create events and book meetings right away.

Nothing on the Owners current account will be effected by this, so they will keep all of their information! :)

Once the user is added, you can create a Team Page that can display events for both users. Lots of users will take this and embed it on their website, so the client would choose the host first, then book the meeting. You can read more on this feature here: https://help.calendly.com/hc/en-us/articles/16831517906711-How-to-set-up-a-team-page

Let me know if you have any questions!

Hi David,

Thank you for the information.

I have an additional question. Should I set up the calendars as ‘collective events’ or ‘managed events’.

I have created the team and linked both users but just need to figure out what I should do next if that makes sense.

Thank you!
