I did not receive the confirmation

Question

I received an invitation for a phone screen and booked a time through the recruiter’s Calendly. I remember seeing the slot on my calendar last night, but amidst a lot of tasks, I didn’t notice that I hadn’t received a confirmation email.

This morning, the appointment disappeared from my calendar, and I couldn’t find the confirmation email anywhere. I emailed the recruiter to confirm (but I haven’t received a reply yet). It feels a bit odd, and I wonder if it’s possible the host canceled the meeting and hadn’t pre-configured the confirmation emails?

I’m starting to feel anxious because this is such a great opportunity 😔

It’s possible that the host canceled the meeting, which could explain the disappearance from your calendar and the lack of a confirmation email. Since you've already reached out to the recruiter for clarification, it’s best to wait for their response. In the meantime, try to stay positive and focus on preparing for the interview if it does happen.
