Issue with Email Notifications and Link Accessibility

Dear Calendly Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out regarding an issue we have encountered with our email notifications. Recently, our clients have reported that the email containing their appointment link is being deleted automatically as soon as they open it, preventing them from accessing the link for their session.

Could you please advise on why this might be happening and how we can resolve it? Your assistance in ensuring that our clients can reliably access their appointment links would be greatly appreciated.

Hi ​@Tina123456 - Thanks for reaching out here.

This is an interesting one. Normally, once an email is sent and delivered to the client, its a bit outside of Calendly’s control. We don’t have any way to delete their emails from our end. But theres a couple things you can look into:

  1. What kind of notifications do you use? Either Calendar Invitations or Email Confirmations? You can read more about each type here: Calendly scheduling notifications
    1. If you haven’t already, try switching it to email confirmations for the time being​​​​​​​
  2. Is this happening with all of your event types?
  3. Is this happening with all of your customers?
