We are looking for the right solution for our locations. Let me briefly explain our plan:
- Our customers should be able to select a service as the first step
- The next step is to select whether the booked service should take place via Zoom meeting or at a location. So the customer has the choice: Zoom Meeting, Location 1, Location 2, Location 3,...
-> The respective locations could be set up as team members, right?

- Once the location or Zoom has been selected, the customer can choose their timeslot.

Is this feasible? If so, how?  Ideas and alternative approaches welcome!

Hey there @Eder_streifen - yes! This sure is something you can do with Calendly using routing - let me tell you more!

Routing forms let you request information such as industry, company size, specific interests, etc. from website visitors and automatically direct them to a specific scheduling or web page based on their responses. It's great for screening and qualifying sales leads on a website or matching clients or students to the booking page of the right subject-matter expert based on their interests, program, or other criteria. You can read more about setting up routing forms, here!

With your use case, you’d want to:

  1. Set up event types with each service offered + location combination that you’ll need, and make them all secret if you’d like to avoid invitees booking them outside of the routing form
  2. Set up a routing form
  3. Include the questions, “Which service are you booking with us today?” and “Where would you like to meet?” with dropdown selections or radio buttons.
  4. Use the routing logic to send the invitees to the appropriate event types based on their answers so they can book them!
  5. That’s it!

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you hit any annoying snags. 🤗

Hello @Kelsi at Calendly

thank you very much for the quick and detailed reply.  😊

Is it also possible to add logic to the form questions?

Example:

Question 1: Which service?
Answer 1
Answer 2

If answer 1 is selected, question 2 appears.

If answer 2 is selected, question 3 appears.

Hey there, @Eder_streifen - there is logic included in our routing forms, yes! This allows for you to set up “and/or” logic. So, if question 1 is answered in X way *and* question 2 is answered in X way, then the invitee is routed to Event A, and so on. If question 1 is answered Y way *or* Z way then the invitee is routed to a custom response instead of an event booking page. There are endless options!

If you read the Help Center article above that I included that goes over how to set up routing, pay attention to this portion (clicking here will bring you straight to this portion of the article so you can continue reading!):

Step 2: Set up your routing rules

You can set up a few different types of routes:

Note: You can have multiple screening and booking routes but only one fallback route.

I hope this helps!
